Not quite the librarian you expected. The Book Worms are intelligent creatures, who given the opportunity can develop extremely high literacy...but it would seem that for them reading the letters is an experience that pales in comparison to feasting on a well aged tome. You haven't lived until you've eaten a good book.
You guessed it, The Book Worm is a home brewed creature/monster, I made for D&D. They can eat the pages of magic books, tomes, scrolls, letters, and even magic items in order to ingest the abilities and learn spells to than cast. This one right here is a two headed centipede version, where as other branches of this species can look like caterpillars, slugs, and of course worms. I don't officially work for Wizards Of The Coast, so all of my bad ass work is officially unofficial. Great thing about that though, when it is done being play tested I can make it available to you all on the DM's Guild web sight.
