Pregnancy Test

I made this 3 page comic/storyboard as my take on what happens after Jokers death (depicted in Batman Beyond; Return of The Joker, and in the Arkham video games). Not only has Batman always tried to help his rogues gallery find a path to recovery, and a means to start new lives outside their criminal histories, but the moment he learns Harley is pregnant he would absolutely do everything he could to help them both. It also gives more context to the end of the animated film where the Dee Dee Twins are bailed out of jail by their Nana Harley, and the conversation she would have with them after getting home. I envisioned this eventually leading to a story in the Batman Beyond time line where Nana Harley gets exposed to Lazarus Pit water (probably smuggled into Gotham as Mineral Bath Balms) and she regains her youth temporarily. Harley, The Dee Dee Twins, Woof, Ghoul, and Chucko would team up with Batman & Batman Beyond in order to deal with a new Joker Gang leader who was a direct result of Jokers short return; Punchline (who honestly should have always been a villain in the Batman Beyond time line). Punchline now runs a rival Royal Flush Gang, and has a dozen Joker Gangs loyal to her. It would be a fun 6 issue run. I also think it would be a fun way to show at the end of issue 6, a bunch of future villains getting offered time served in the new Suicide Squad of Batman Beyond’s tine.
